I love this movie. I was a lot younger when it came out and we all enjoyed it. It would be better if we could find on the internet more of the songs from the movie. it was something that I showed to my children. It is a piece of time that I do not want to forget. ELO was great as well as the others singers that make up the soundtrack. I do not care what others say they have a right to how they feel. Thanks

This movie was a time piece. Of course now when we look back at it it seems corny. I do think Livvy was great, and the music is still incredible to this day. Jeff Lynne is a genius and his work on this project made the movie bearable. All these songs are Magic and bring back great memories.

I love this movie, and I don't consider it a guilty pleasure. Sure it's old, sure it's kitsch, but so what? It's got an interesting story and lovely music so I'll watch it again anytime!

Not the greatest movie in the world, but you'll have a great time watching it. The songs are incredible, sing along!! ;-)

Not a bother at all, RHanna. Gene Kelly rocked. He was always trying new things. While Xanadu might not be up there as a great movie, I still enjoy watching him in it. No matter what he did, he made it look effortless, no matter what his age! See 1 other reply

I'm sorry to bother everyone, but if anyone is interested Gene Kelly did a stupendous roller skating ensemble in a movie when he was in his prime in the 1950's. He got the idea while his daughter was skating around on the set. They were the old metal kind that strapped to your shoes! Anyway, his skating in Xanadu was a nod to his earlier performance which I believe was the first time anyone did anything artistic (choreographed) with rollerskates in a movie. See 1 other reply
