Why can't lesbians have a show?

I just read the comment from sushilsawant84...and I must agree...the show is for a specific audience...and I ask, why is that a problem? 99.9% of TV programming is for straight, white America. I applaud BRAVO for being just 1 of the hundreds of networks that isn't afraid of having lesbians or gay men as characters. Also, one last thing, most fitness trainers believe in moderation...there is no reason to cut out alcohol completely!

we're all human...

I absolutely agree... Life is about balance and moderation in all things... that means you can be dedicated to health and still enjoy a fun night out with some alcohol. If you don't realize that then you are depriving yourself of fun and happiness. Work hard and play hard!

As far as who this show appeals to... lesbians love it, gay guys love it, straight guys love it and straight women love it (the women are HOT and the guys are HOT... who cares what orientation any of them are - they're all just humans!).

And yeah, go Bravo for continuing to broadcast shows that feature gay and lesbians! It's absolutely true, and in the same vein as what tiffanywrd noted, that about 99% of people on television are straight... but in life we are everywhere (and plenty of us don't even look gay) so let's start reflecting that in the media!

not just for lesbians

I am a straight male and Work Out is by far one of my favorite reality shows, and definitely my favorite of the many Bravo shows I watch.

Lets be honest this show was for a specific target market (lesbians)

She is a horrible trainer and a dedicated indiviual to health and fitness would never touch alcohol

Great stuff!

I love the ones with the girls (because I'm a girl) where they're using either no equipment or just a pair of weights, because I can't afford a gym membership or any expensive equipment.
