Like so many causes it is difficult to raise both public awareness and governmental support. Growing up in the Rocky Mountains of the US, we here know something of what industrialization does to our natural places. Where dams have destroyed historic salmon runs where my great grandparents once fished, and entire ecosystems were destroyed and relocated to move water to industrial farmlands, etc. I hope for the sake of Iceland that they are able to overcome much of this irresponsible and environmentally damaging direction they are heading in and return to be a leader in green innovation. It is a strong reminder for all those of us outside of Iceland as well to remember that we are part of the problem when we buy into the production of such energy. Keep up the good work, and fantastic music Bjork!
