I had to give this show one more chance because it couldn't get any worse than the first episode. This young lady showed ambition. I have lived a hard life because I think your survival skills help when your faced with hard times. Having had roaches in an apartment I lived in many years ago I can say this girl is a strong one and can servive on her own. Roaches are sickening, but she stood strong and her mom should be proud of her. I just wonder if mom worked or had a hefty check every month from the ex. Just goes to show that if you don't let your kids get spoiled as a child, you won't have to kick them out because they will be jumping for the chance to start thier lives and make you proud. Again, poor parenting but a great kid.

I didn't know that ignorance was a requisite for the make a wish foundation, I thought it had to be some kind of terminal illness. Just stop being lazy!

The Mother and daughter were both full of themselves. Although she did only give her daughter $300.00 and then scam her out of another $100.00 and was upset on how the apartment looked like in the end. Unlike The first episodes kid parents, gave him $1500.00!...$1500.00!! Well of course his apartment was going to look great. The point is. That Both of the kids parents were well off. The mom on this episode did it better than them. And she looks like a single parent.

I really liked this episode. I felt like the show actually worked, and I am happy for the mother and the girl. She really tried to make the best out of her situation, which I was impressed by!
