The first time I saw her face, I couldn't look away. She just has "it". And then heard her deep sort of sultry but strong voice...it was like hearing the female equivalent to Morgan Freeman's voice. Just powerful! She's definitely in my top three favorite actresses.I can't even remember how many times I've seen Dreamgirls (the SAG premier and two other pre-screenings in NYC, in theatres when it came out and on DVD). I thought Jennifer Hudson was BRILLIANT! But because of my loyalty to Cate, I was so disappointed that she didn't win that year.I pray that this dynamic, remarkable woman and actress wins an Oscar for the category she deserves it in: Best Actress. Because, no matter what film she plays in and no matter how small or large the part she plays, one can't help but be drawn to her character. That in itself is simply amazing.

I loved this episode, Cate Blanchett is my favorite female actor, one of my fave roles of her was in the Film "The Man Who Cried". There was a scene where her character looks at her husband knowing he's a player, and gives a smile that had so much meaning that did it for me. I knew she was my fave!

I know everyone says that about Meryll Streep but I beg to differ. cate has it all and is the best in her craft hands down!!

A wonderful insight to Cate Blanchet's life. She's such a lovely woman.
