I love this series more than I could say, and I have all of the released manga...now normally I don't actually buy the manga, i read them on the net, but I am a loyal fan of Arakawa-sama and as such I will not deviate from buying the manga. In the manga I fear there's only a few more releases though, but the show should have quite a bit more episodes if you're worried. See 6 other replies

Yeah, no. This series is the bomb. The bomb dot friggin' com. And they haven't even gotten into the REALLY good stuff yet.

I totally agree, this is 10x better than the old anime. That one, the timeline, and parts of the storyline sometimes didn't really make sense, but this one is much more meticulous and well written, I respect Hiromu Arakawa for this, not so much for the writers of the old anime. No offense intended, but yeah, this is better. See 6 other replies

Well this is based almost exactly off of the actual manga series. So yeah this time, instead of creating their own story (for the most part) with the writer's characters they're able to draw directly from the manga and create higher quality work because of how much effort has already been put into the story. I don't think it's a Sin City reference so much as its the representation of the Amestrians in Scar's mind. For Scar, the Amestrians (sp?) distinct feature was their blue eyes and blond hair so he now associates blue eyes and blond hair with Amestrians. See 3 other replies

Agreed. The complexities unravel in a better way. The first series was built around the revelation of Ed and Al's father while this seems to be much more dynamic. Their father, the homonculus' plan for who can be sacrificed and the eastern alchemy. See 6 other replies
