I read the book this movie is based on and it was just awesome. Now that said this movie trailer implied they went an "American Pie/The Hangover" direction with it, which is not really what the book was about. However to get it made by a movie studio, I'm sure they had to sensationalize it and exaggerate it, which makes it seem just as unbelievable as those movies were.And that's the opposite of what made the book great... the book was awesome because while Tucker's life was pretty close to a real life version of The Hangover, the events that were detailed were real and didn't need exaggerated... the fact they actually happened was amazing enough. This looks like the movie execs asked for "More extreme!" because they wanted another Top 10 clone.

We live in a sexist culture, therefore you will get sexist, misogynistic garbage like this. Some gems from the movie:*On women:

Seriously who wants to watch a movie with no conflict..... REALLY BORING PEOPLE.... now to the people flaming this... Corey B. if you don't know the premise then don't comment this is not a cute little story about a working class girl who decides to move for a job and all the problems that entails. James im sure no one has anything good to say about you either. Ryan, books are always better than the movie did you watch any of the Harry Potter movies... IT.... Eragon.... even the chronicles of christian undertones was a better book. This kind of movie only appeals to a select audience males between 18-24 or something like that if you do not fill that hole then you probably will not like this movie....

i actually read the book, talked to tucker, and was looking forward to this movie. i don't know the actors in the movie, but now i can end my wait in seeing it. and if they do serve beer in hell i hope its at least rodeo cool.
