One thing that was hard not to think about though was that it is accepted already that he is a great man, so its pretty easy to watch something about him and be amazed. Regardless, he seems to actually understand politics, but whether that translates into understanding what the people want is another matter. All politicians are experts at saying nothing to an answer that demands a yes or no, and they get away with it. Promises without results, taking more than giving, instead of politicians we should just call them corruptiticians.

His words were very prophetic. His common sense and grasp of foreign policy dwarfs his peers at the time and all politicians today. Of course like any good television series he was also cancelled by the powers that be.

You're completely right. He was not only very educated on the things we were facing, and had faced in the past, but he truly cared deeply about the nation. I've been studying and reading about John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy for maybe over a month now and I've really became a "fan" of the two of them. I've come to really love and admire them so much and think about what our world would be like today if they were still with us.

Also, it's so crazy watching the interview from 1960 with him talking about his possible short life expectancy. That almost gave me chills hearing him say that, it's pretty unbelievable. See 1 other reply

His mannerisms and wisdom echo of Obama, if only all our leaders could be like that.

These two "Meet the Press" shows clearly demostrate that John Kennedy was keen on the issues facing our nation in the 1960's. I believe he spoke from his heart concerning the administration of the country for four years or even eight years. Unfortunately, his life was cut short.
