There were many interesting places this film could have taken me but, instead, it took me back to a boring history class -- a class with a teacher that wasn't so much interested in the richness of history as he was testing us on names and dates.
I realize now that the fault does lie with me because the title DOES say it plainly, "The Many Faces of Sherlock Holmes." I was hoping to learn more about the character Doyle created but this film simply lists all the actors that played Holmes.
For me, this was a snooze-fest that gave very few facts about actors I never heard of and don't remember already.
