When I first read this post, I was thinking it was about Agent Barrett (the NID one that liked Carter) rather than Agent Burke. My mistake. Burke was the funnier one. And I agree, he would have made a great addition to the SGC. If I remember right, I'm pretty sure on the DVD Peter DeLuise says that everyone wanted to get him for more episodes (Colantoni) but he was unavailable. Oh, and the giant bubble as he was taking out the undead guy was HIS idea - an ad lib DeLuise loved and kept in. See 6 other replies

You're thinking of Burke (Enrico Calantoni) from the episode Evolution. He blew up the un-dead guy. But I agree that was one of the best moments ever. Cracked up when he said: "Let me guess... unclassified? You guys are into some crazy crap, man." See 6 other replies
