Yup, russian soldiers don't salute without wearing a hat. So genuine footage is total BS. Although its a realy good show for conspiracy freaks, it fails under close examinaion. and seriously all kgb agents can speak english that good?

There were several instances that made me really wonder. But then some of this "recovered archive" footage was very questionable. Like the footage of the ghost just seemed fake. Especially the part where the ghost was to move a real watch over to the table. Seriously the watch was as transparent as well? I mean come-on clearly that was just bad special effects.

I read the book this was based on when I was twelve and this provides the same level of interest and entertainment now that I'm in my Forties. Just enough truth to make the schmaltz go down smoothly. I do wish they had refrained from the pretense of having "actual Soviet Archival Footage" when it was obviously being acted out on video. Especially hilarious were the "Russian" army soldiers giving each other British army salutes and the illustration of a U.S. Submarine using archival U-Boat footage with Nazi officers in uniform and all that! That being said, for the first twenty minutes I just kept wracking my poor brain trying to remember whether Sir Roger Moore was still alive or had passed on. I finally went to the Internet to find out.As of May 17th, 2010...HE'S ALIVE!

this was really good interesting to see the roles they played in their society.now the one character that made me laugh was in the dark, smoking a cigarette,and couldn't sit still to save his soul.

This was ridiculously stupid. There were parts that were interesting and could have possibly been somewhat credited, but they were layered in with pieces that were complete and absolute bullchet. Don't waste your time.
