It's a great show! Sammy in beginning of his career and I liked it.

What a great show. As soon as I saw the young Sammy Davis, I knew who he was. A great actor who will be long remembered as friends of Frank Sanatra, Dean Martin and many other actors. A little man with a heart as big as Texas. If you ever watched Sammy, you will never forget his talents. My favorite song that he song was Mr. BoJangle. I forgot he played on The Rifleman. This episode was especially good because of this one man. As usual, Chuck brought out the moral values he has always lived by. The one thing we could always count on in this show. Get us the rest of his episodes.

I didn't know that about Sammy Davis. I was surprised to see how good he was. Guess it was a valuable skill to have in Hollywood back then.

i have seen every episode over the years,and this is by far my favorite. most people may not know this buy sammy davis jr. was one of the best quickdraw artist; if not the best in all of hollywood. right up there with jay silverheels,who played tonto in the lone ranger.
