really enjoyed this documentary. Iran is beautiful. The people seem very nice. The hair coverings remind me of the Amish and Mennonite peoples of America. I do know some and it is just a way to dress, and a different way to be. After a while I don't even notice the difference. Seeing Iranians move so peacfully,and freely through their beautiful cities. I was feeling the same way with them. As if it was just a different style.Something beautiful tyo admire, respect, and preserve. I hope to see more of this country and others like it. I do not like to see tensions between our countries due to politics, and religons.
religious differences can be ignored as long as everyone has respect for each others differences. I am sure there will come a day because of the Internet where all people of the world can live in peace and enjoy each others different cultures and religions.   See 9 other replies

Well, the lengthy introduction in the beggining stating how they had to take permissions etc gave that impression. I actually was really irritated with that intro because I know many people in US will use it as a support for their negative thinking about Iran. I also did not like that he made any political commentary. All the Europe episodes are about travel and food and never make any political statement then why do that with Iran. I also thought his tone was judgemental about the status of women, the burqa, separate seating arrangements etc. There was no need to be judgemental. He could have just reported what he saw as different than his usual experience.   See 9 other replies
