I have 2 computer screens and sometimes need something on the in the background when I'm doing less-than-exciting tasks at my job. NBC really blew it -- I liked this show and they should have made more. I guess they canceled it because it was something of a cross between Quantum Leap and The Pretender. But it would have been nice to have 2 more seasons at least to develop the WHY (how this happened to the main character). We get an idea in the last episode that his condition may have been part of some corporate experiment, but that doesn't explain one of the female protagonists from having the same condition when she lived 60 years earlier. Anyway, it was a good cast who do a good job of portraying the potential impact on the family.
My real guess for why NBC canceled it is that it actually portrays a marriage with two partners doing all they can to love and understand one another in the midst of horrendous turmoil. That probably had too many family values for the likes of NBC.
