It was by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Not Jules Verne. If you're too ignorant to know your literature, at least check Wikipedia. Or just notice how his name is everywhere.

This great story, novel, by the master Verne, was turned into a tedious and boring movie at best. Had to stop before they even got to the Lost World, or I would go crazy from watching it. Does the word pacing and fast moving mean anything to this director?

This was an excellent movie to watch. It kept my attention the whole time. There were some "hokey smokes" scenes in it, but over all very entertaining,
Because it was an adaption from or to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original movie, there will be some that will nit pick it to death...but I have watched it 2x now & still enjoy it.

Must be made to be in a "Vintage 1972" style. Wow, technology was just so "Vintage". CUTE movie if ya look at it that way. This is a true Saturday morning children's show.

... but the 1912 Conan Doyle novel is better.

This is one instance when a visit to your local library would be a better use of time.

Interesting movie...lol. Technology seems to have been a little late on this one as I thought better was available at that time. Maybe the Imagineers were sought for input? Entertaining but lame entertainment considering some of the scenes could have been more dramatic...what was with the collar that looked like it would fall off without too much trouble, freeing a dinosaur in a 'modern' world not too bright either, and the natives chasing the interlopers who were armed with guns. Not one spear was thrown when the chance was presented although it looked like one of the natives was shot. I would have thought that would have been enough to make the rest run but it apparently takes something more neolithic like boulders.
