I enjoy looking up these name bran items that they mention in this anime for some reason and seeing that they named real towns and even drew the pictures of the towns in question similier to the towns in real life; based on what ive seen from google. .... also i find it funny that at about 20:24 they show a picture of "the strait of messena bridge", cus if u go to google.com and type in "the strait of messena bridge" and click on images, the exact same picture / image is in the first row......... p.s. i know its boring what i just said but i find it interesting and i like it when animes such as "gunslinger girl" takes the time to do research on the towns, wine, guns, art, buildings and or other merchandise / places that they represent in their show.

I have only seen one full episode and the opening sequence of the second, and this series is already on my amazon wish list. Unfortunately for me,only 2 dubbs on Hulu. I know the purists will say subbs are the best, but until I learn Japanese, and can check the translations for myself, the dubbs are my favorite. Otherwise I spend all my time reading and not looking at the wonderful animation.
