this show is is so stereotypical, im a teen mother and i have a daughter and i find it totally offensive that they portray amy as a really immature mother. no mother in their right mind would even think for a second to leave her baby to go away for the summer. when you become a mother its just not that easy to leave and not think twice. as for ricky, i think maybe he's the most realistic, not every guy will run away from the situation. i'm still with my daughters father and we are doing pretty well working together. and i thought that it was pretty realistic when amy was all emotional in the beginning of season 2 but as time passed she never even started coping with her situation. she always acts like john is this huge burden and having a baby isn't that way, you just deal with it and make the best of things.i think i was pregnant during season one and i actually looked for comfort in this show and it wasn't realistic at all, 16 and pregnant was much better and watching it made me feel like there were other girls that were making it work in my situation and it gave me some encouragement. but as for this show, i probably won't be watching it anymore
