bad acting made this movie freakin awesome!(so i guess that's great acting then lol) nice music too freaky at first but it was a fun movie! johnny depp is absolutely amazing!
At first, I found it really weird. I mean, there was some very messed up parts in here, but I found them all hilarious! This movie is one of the coolest weird movies I've ever seen before. Johnny Deep is an awesome actor also, and it's kind of cool seeing him in this movie because most of the movies I've seen him in is kind of funny, and this one is included in that bunch especially.
I love this movie!(: its been one of my favorites since i was a kid!! I love Amy Locane and Johnny Depp. It was nice to see Traci Lords in a different light((: Ricki Lake played an amazing part.The music in this movie was fantastic, the acting was horrible, but it added to the charm!!AND a non drugged up Iggy Pop was nice too!!
John Waters has never been afraid to embrace America's subcultures as odd and misunderstood, and Cry Baby is no exception. I'd like to think of it as a modern day Romeo and Juliet...only with a happy ending.I love how Waters recycles many of the actors in his movies, giving them a breath of new life with dynamic characters and passionate lines.Truly a masterpiece of musicals, Cry Baby is full of heart and laughs. If you think it's a commentary on the social downfalls of a nation, you probably need to adjust your tinfoil hat. If you think it's an entertaining piece of celluloid, come sit next to me and we'll catch another movie.
And this John Waters adventure succeeds .A great cast, insightfull dialog, LOL . killer Rockabilly ......a great, fun movie to watch over and over ........................................... FYI singe/ actor James Intveld was the voice for Cry Baby and singer/actress Rachel Sweet was the voice Allison. And Hatchet Face best line...There's nothing the matter with my face. I got character! . Amen Sister.
and as for your apocalyptic world view, one question how many time can the Christian/Jewish cults get away with saying the world is going to end before the general public realizes they are full of crap? I have to say that confusing the movie Cry Baby with a herald of the end times is stooping to a new low. You do realize of course that by sharing these views you yourself become what we call a religious extremist, and yes that does lump you in with the people who strap themselves with bombs and blow up a coffee shop... just saying...
