Hulu is able to offer this series on a two-week delay from Japan. The dubbed version of this series isn't available at this time, but we will continue to pursue both dubbed and subtitled versions of all anime series.
I am certainly a bigger fan of the manga plotline versus the original anime series's plotline. However, I feel that this series lacks the depth, the emotion, the connection with the characters that the first series had. Perhaps it's because we moved so fast through the first few episodes, perhaps not. Either way, this series has so much potential. There were so many scenes in here that could have really ripped my heart to pieces, but they didn't because I simply lack the connection with the characters. I don't feel as close, and I miss the intimacy I had with the last series.
They bring up that whole bit later in the series. I would tell you why exactly they believe they can get their bodies back despite the cost but it is a major major spoiler to the entire ending. .. Don't worry though its explained. I agree with Ritter though toss the last version out the window by this episode. Almost nothing will be the same now from who the homunculi are to who their father is. Or why their father left.

I admit, it's not as good as the first series, But this 1 follows the manga. They made up the other stuff, somewhat. here, they go word per word on the books. It takes 1 book to make 1 episode, they're on book 11, there's just over 20 in japan, I think.
