In 3 minutes you can really tie together a series of events in a way that doesn't require you to really elaborate or even offer evidence. This clip goes from naked people in the streets, to sweatshops in china, to riots in the streets, and attempts to link them all in a meaningful way. I would think that if the subject were really worth covering they could fill an hour or two with more information...but what you get is 3 minutes of shallow implications. I bet if they took the time they could find much much much worse things happening in the global economy, and actually do a little research and make an enlightening show out of it.
This reminds me of a green peace hippie that approached me at a mall with a slip of paper to sign and mail in protest of Kleenex cutting down some forest. He seemed shocked when I told him I wasn't interested...probably because I have long hair and he thought I was one of his people. This r-tard had a whole stack of these slips of paper in his hand and he was trying his best to get them all filled out so he could mail them off to some government official. Stacks of paper made from trees...used to protest the cutting of trees to make paper products. Yes I have long hair, have been known to smoke the pot, and have seen the Dead live several times....but I don't like to identify myself with idiots that think we'd all be better off if there weren't any corporations at all.
The people that buy the beads provide income to bead makers in china, oil exports to china provide income for the people of Iraq, refinement of Iraqi oil by Chevron provides jobs for Americans so they can give money to their kids to go get drunk in the streets and expose themselves.
The only people that lose I suppose are the protesters that apparently failed to get a permit to gather legally. But that will teach them to show up to an unlawful gathering and taunt the police like the idiot with the camera and beads was doing. Consider that riot cops are generally outnumbered, and must maintain a degree of control over a situation or it gets ugly...not just for people involved, but for bystanders, businesses, etc. If you push them, expect that they will push right back with even more force.
