Your facts are a bit out of order. The chemicals are given to induce a dead-like-state. Person is dug up later. Digging up a dead person and injecting something into their "blood stream" is a bit impossible since the heart isn't pumping anymore.But the rest of it is right (if the cited matierials are accepted as factual). Once the body dies the virus reactivates the brain. The zombie then has minimal brain function, instinct and motor skills. They don't breathe oxygen and I believe the only gas that could kill them would be something that could desolve the brain matter. Yeah, I think about this stuff way too much.   See 2 other replies

Stairs yes, ladders no. Stairs can be climbed a variety of ways which require very little corrdination. They don't have to take it one step at the time. They can very easily fall and continue up the stairs even if at a very painfully slow speed.Problem with most zombie fiction (Romero, Max Brooks etc) is that zombies have basic motor skills and instinct. While they can walk (and in some cases run) I doubt they have the skill to climb a ladder. However in this film with them jumping and climbing all over the place (and even a ladder in the sewer if I'm not mistaken) I think it would be possible.Zombie fiction changes greatly from author to author. These zombies can climb. Some others can't.Read Max Brook's books Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z - Best zombie fiction out there imo. Very well thought out. Trench spike (not trench knife). Straight spike. Solid through handle. Wont get snagged retracting from zombie's head. Best melee weapon for zombies, hands down. While other weapons might have longer reach (swords, staves etc) most either take a bit of practice to master and/or certain conditions to wield effectively. Trench spike goes in clean, kills, comes out clean. No upkeep. No difficulty using it. Perfect weapon.   See 12 other replies

Well I live in Vermont, where it's freezing outside most of the winter, and I don't mind staying here when Z-Day comes. The point is that zombies are dead, and so don't have any internal body heat, so they freeze solid at 32F / 0C. Anyone with a fire can go most of the winter completely safe from zombies. Also, as Max Brooks mentions in WWZ, with the bastards frozen it's a piece of cake to just stroll around decapitating zombicicles. So you guys can go live in the rainforest if you want. Even if you're safe from zombies, you'll probably die from all the poisonous flora/fauna and tropical diseases. I'll stay home, thanks.   See 28 other replies
