Hah. Sara seems almost like a blatant canonical Mary Sue, poking fun at many a self-insert character in fan-fiction. She's got all the boxes checked. Praised as beautiful, check. Tragic back-story, check. Previously unknown connections to a regular series character, check. Suddenly super-powered, definitely. Embarrassingly rabid love at first sight, oh yeah. Her name is also "Sara", which is suspiciously foreign sounding. As far as I know, that isn't Japanese (at least not name-wise; it could be a regular word though). She also bests all of the main characters or outsmarts them. She's also sickeningly self-sacrificing.Hilariously, (and in character), Sesshomaru doesn't reciprocate her feelings. And she turns out to be less than beautiful (on the inside). Maybe a subtle jab at fangirls? Although they kind of play it straight by having everyone sympathize with her...
