PROS: Geena Davis is a great actress and is surrounded by other talented actors, and the show offers a look into our political system for better or worse.
CONS: No matter how good an actor is he/she is only as good as the script and in many cases it was lacking in quality and who ever was in charge of fact checking sucked!
CONCLUSION: I think ABC fumbled the ball once again by not allowing the show to continue in its original time slot and for not having some one (anyone) fact check things like 1. That five states actually rescinded their passage of the ERA Amendment and its ratification deadline had expired during the Reagan Presidency. and, 2. Maine has 4 not 3 Electoral Votes in the Electoral College!

Maine has 4 electoral votes...none of the writers on this show bothered to look that up?

Whatever topic this show took on, The West Wing took it on years before, with better writing and more reasonable & less convenient solutions ... the family angle doesn't mix well with political intrigue.

I can see more and more why this show didn't last. I had high hopes for it, but intellectually there is just flaw after flaw so there goes that demographic, and most people who like the family stuff isn't interested in that being wrapped around political mumbo jumbo....yeah, there are fans, but it's clear why there weren't enough. I'm no longer disappointed I missed half the season when it originally aired. I still think Geena Davis is a great actress-as well as most of the people on this show, but the writing was lousy and the research seemed to be almost non-existent.
