Having played paintball myself both woodsball and speedball this movie was almost to hard to watch. Yes it did have it's funny MOMENTS but to me it sucked. I have never seen that happy go lucky about playing paintball in my life. Yes it's fun to play but everyone that I've ever played with including those that are still tournement players are very competitive and never that happy about putting a bunch of no name players together. But I'm getting off of the movie a little bit here. I think the acting was REALLY bad, the game was portrayed really poorly even though it did show some of what the game is about. I guess I'm being a little judgemental about the movie but I did start the movie with an open mind only to find that I really didn't like it.

Done in the manner similar to 'Best in Show' and 'This is Spinal Tap' - two other mocumentaries worth watching - The Bobby Dukes story is just a fun movie to watch. It was also fun to see Ed Helms from the 'The Office' in this movie.

a low key movie that didnt get too much attention! serious paintballers need to get a grip! the cast was hilarious and at times, it was slow, but the funny parts made me laugh until i cried! they are making fun of a documentary so don't take it as an education to the sport of paintball. it does however display aspects and fundamentals of paintball but its goal was not to display every detail of how the sport is played! i play competitive paintball and i thought this movie was a great mix of comedy and also dedication to the sport. "Bobby Dukes" showed how much passion he had for the sport! It also gives people who don't play paintball a change to see how fun it is and it possibly might inspire them to pick up a gun and go have some fun! Overall, loved it! People just dont take it as a documentary about paintball! its a comedy!
