The Tok'ra have a bad habit of keeping technology and information away from the Earth and then they continually illicit our help for basically suicide missions and even then they continue to omit or hide some information about each mission. Also they are quick to do nothing when the SG teams are in offworld situations despite the fact that humans keep coming to their aid and offering themselves as hosts. Thats enough to develop a bias and distrust for them.The Tollan people are so cocky and arrogant. They were so arrogant that they almost fell victim to the Goa'uld coup but it took a primitive species of humans (SG1) to save their asses. Then their leader pretty much turned on them and they turned on Earth and tried to attack. I think thats sufficient reason to hold a grudge with them too.Can you imagine saving someone else's life from an accident and then to cover their own incompetence they tell everybody that you caused the accident? Thats what the people of Kelowna did to Dr. Jackson. And he died as a result of saving millions of their people. He has a pretty good reason for not wanting to do business with them.The asgard always try their best to do whats right for all people, not just their own. And they have come to the rescue when they had the means to do so. While they dont exactly share technology they do try to help in anyway that makes sense for all innocent beings.   See 8 other replies

Well, the Tokra are weird and manipulative. They are also Goauld's in biology. I can understand why Jack wouldnt trust themThe Tollan were (are?) snobish and their manner and policies can be somewhat abrasive to relations. The people of Kolona (sp?) were the reason Daniel risked his life and... you know.
Then they lied about it and blamed SG1 for what happened. I'd say Jack had a pretty good reason to hold a grudge.
The Asgard, despite being the most advanced and intelligent of all of SG1's contacts, actually treat humans like partners and respect them. Sure, they send SG1 on all sorts of crazy missions, but they are physically weak. Their brains and our brawn make them an excellent team (to steal a line from Half-life)
The unification of the major earth powers in "disclosure" tip-toes earth from any hypocrisy of judging another planet's nations in regards to stargate secrecy and its use. Now they can demand that all nations be informed in order to give military aid (to fight the Goauld)   See 8 other replies
