Come on guys if you have been watching the show since season one and actually watching all the shows why in gods name are you getting riled up by a comic relief episode.

It's called comic relief for a reason it's to give the viewers a break! Please god some of you need to relax and enjoy the comedy of a SiFi show many many shows have done similar one episode comedies you just need to roll with it and try to enjoy. And really the whole show is corny so watching this one episode isn't going to kill you... sometimes corny can be fun after all

Hey at 06:24 isn't that one of the doctors in the star trek series? or babylon 5?? I know he was a doctor in some sci fi series.... Anyway I love that guy!!! woo hoo!!

Of course but the only time he was seen wearing glasses was when they had passed through the stargate & were walking alone, he put the glasses on, ran into a lone jaffa who was shortly zapped thereafter. See 29 other replies

Lemme put an end to the debate. On the official Stargate site, the producers were interviewed about this very topic. the interview might even be on a DVD.

It is clearly stated by those who made the show that it was not their intention for it to seem like the whole episode was a dream. They noted how the confusion could exist, so they made another episode that would quell any doubts.

I loved it. It was a nice break. I have watched other series where they have a pattern and they stick with it and it gets old quick. SG1 keeps it fresh and that is what has kept them going for so long plus spinoffs.

Can you imaging how you would have acted if you were there? Fan boy all the way.
