@ ben olensky: as a current new york city resident it is sometimes hard to believe how interconnected individuals are....but it is the case. i have several instances of being 'introduced' to someone only to realize we have a few connections in common. and just recently the professor in my class found out that she was a consultant on a project in sri lanka that one of my classmate had worked on implementing....neither had met or knew of each other prior to the class....while the city is huge (8.2M proper and 16.4 in the metro area) the reality is that folks of the same ilk gravitate towards each other thus making these types of connections possible. Probably the best drama I've ever watched. It's truly sad that great shows die so quickly!

If it's crap, you can't pry it off the boob tube! A terrific show that I very much would have enjoyed watching for a second season. The whole Ray Jones, though well written and woven in, was still a bit of a stretch with him having brought everyone together. Maybe that's what so great about this show. It left me wanting more. Guess that's better than getting burnt out or running short of material. Great job guys!

I really enjoyed this show. It certainly deserved a second season, which, sadly, it won't get. I was fascinated watching the various characters' lives intertwine. I even kept track of it on a diagram as the show progressed. See 2 other replies

It actually kinda of crazy how often people in New York meet by accident. I ran into the cousin of a guy I went to high school with at a bar. The kicker, my high school is a 3 hrs plane ride away and I only mentioned the name of the city I'm from on accident. See 6 other replies

You don't often see a pilot for a show that is as well done as this one!

I didn't really watch this show when it was first on, most likely because I was watching something else. The premise that you connected to any one through a chain of only six people is very interesting. After watching the first episode, I can say that I'll continue to watch the rest of the series on here. I just hope that it lives up my expectations.
