Why has no one said anything about the unfortunate character development of the main characte?. She lacks any type of self-awareness, which seems like a change from the show's backstory of her being the super organized & determined (e.g., planning the how, when, & where of college including funding it). I don't think having a baby would make you characterologically short-sighted.

I would really like to hear how this is reasonable behavior - with a plausible argument. Anything close to "just because you're book smart, doesn't mean you're smart w/ relationships" isn't going to cut it, because I'm talking about how she's become increasingly self-centered and manipulative - which is not the same as post-partum depression or any other hormone linked change related to pregnancy or birth.
