This episode was good. Family wondering about Kyle, finally moving the story along. What I liked the most was that they could've done a clip show of this like so many other shows would've done. Instead they just mentioned the deeds of Kyle.
I loved the music lock, but I couldn't help but thinking of the original Willie Wonka movie. What I didn't like was that it was 13 notes ending in a supertonic, which is no way to finish a phrase unless you finish in a cadence of the dominant. (I know, too technical, sorry, music mayor here). The thing is, how did Kyle know that was enough? Not only that, the version the girl plays it's SO embellished, that for him to know which were the right notes would've taken a few tries, taking this note out here, putting back that note there. The melody was within a fifth, they could've played even more with that as in converting the notes in numbers (like this melody would've been 3455432112332). Anyway, just some tones for thoght. lol
