Everything about this one was kind of blah. The romance lacked energy or heat. I didn't buy the character of the actress; her opposition to Ed's work or to him carrying a gun seemed half-baked and unfocused; she seemed confused as to what she was supposed to be angry about. She was famous enough to merit a press reception at the airport, yet acting seemed to be just something she was doing to kill time, or she had drifted into, or whatever. She didn't even know. Even her hair didn't know what color it was supposed to be. I found it difficult to care whether or not they stayed together. And guess which way it went? Also, the "crime" element, after a rather gripping start, lost all tension or suspense. Mehh.
