In watching more of the series, it looks like the pledges are wearing the crest which contains the chapter letters, not just the letters. Wearing the house crest as a pledge is completely accepted and encouraged. It is also acceptable when it is part of a matching uniform - such as the field hockey unis. See 5 other replies

When I was a pledge I was only allowed to wear the name of the house spelled out until my big sis gave me my first set of letters during Hell Week, but that was in the fall because we only had a one semester pledgeship. We all got a set of letters that were picked out by our big sis's to match our personalities. I still have that shirt. As for the pledge pin - it did change, but the pins changed for everyone else as well. I did notice something that most of you did not. They take their pins off when they drink - and when they went the strip club. That is a policy - no drinking in your letters or with your pin on. See 5 other replies

This is probably going to make me look weird but I love Dale. He makes being highly religious fun, it's not boring with Dale. He's a little off but he's funny, especially when he tries to cure Calvin, lol.

I was totally thinking the same thing, pledges don't wear letters and live in the houses. Also the situation with Rebecca (and the other pledges) is so not right...they are way too disrespectful...I'm mean the frats have their pledges jumping thru hoops, while the ZBZ are apologizing and compromising...Senator's daughter or not there is no way she would be allowed to undermine the authority of the actives esp. the president...now if that were my soro that whole line would be dismissed...NEXT!!!
