Me too. There is nothing more jarring than a Christmas episode starting with Ricky coughing and spitting blood into the snow. Holy mackerel. I think this was the best "Christmas Episode" of any tv show, ever. I watched this show at 18, and am now re-discovering it at 35. Every episode I've seen is a treat, but Angels really hit me like nothing else. I'm re-kindling my relationship with God, and it was so cool to see
Ricky at the end, lighting candles. So many times I cried during this episode, and just wanted to take Ricky into my arms and let him know he's going to be okay. Then kick his dad's butt! Just kidding, kind of. Nobody messes with my boy! Anyway, great episode. My dad was abusive too so I always wanted a place like the house where all the kids hid out. I was always afraid to actually tell people about my dad, even friends, so this show kind of helped me realize it was okay to be different or not come from a perfect two parent or even one parent house. Anyway, I just really love this show. See 1 other reply
