Um this is the first season of this series. The other Full Metal A. that came first follow a entire story line by this point. So you aren't really behind in the Brotherhood thing... Though if you want this series to make more sense I would reccomend the first anime its not like this one at all by the end but it gives you almost all the info you need for the first episodes of this one. The skipped most of the episodes that were in the first edition of the anime to avoid repetition for those who are revisiting F.M.A. Or if you don't mind spoilers read the manga.
