That just means that both parents carried the recessive gene for blue eyes. Its completely possible that the baby got two recessive genes from the parents instead of the dominant brown eye gene.

How is this show even on the air? It's ridiculous in every way. The dad's acting is so bad it hurts. He only has one tone of voice. But come to think of it no one on the show can act. At all. The acting in my 8th grade christmas pageant was better. And come on, Molly Ringwald, how did you fall so far? wtf is molly ringwald doing on this pathetic, anti-sex public service announcement of a show?
Also, anyone else get upset whenever the 15 year olds refer to themselves as men and women?

This show is singularly responsible for making me decide i never want to have kids, ever. Because they might grow up to make a terrible tv show like this, and i would be so ashamed i would kill myself. Like the actors (and really the writers) on this show should do. (especially amy's dad)
