I thought it was interesting how Doogie's father broke the law and crossed an ethical boundary by asking a fellow doctor about what was going on with Mr. Delpino. Why was this just treated like this was ok? It's wrong on so many levels! You can't just give out information on patients to anyone, regardless if they are a doctor or a friend or freakin' God himself. Pretty big oversight on a show that seems to regard ethics in the medical field something of a big topic on different episodes.
The episode itself was fine, but they could have found a more reasonable and responsible way of having the information about Mr. Delpino's heart condition come to light.
