Guess I'm giving away my age with this comment but as I was growing up we used to watch many of the taped Houdini shows. He was the man! The art of illusion or "magic" (a pop culture) has always held sway in our home now as it did during my childhood. My three sons, all in their mid-twenties seem to share this fascination.
Chis Angel represents the height of perfection in a field of other professional illusionists and many wannabes. After watching 6 or 7 of these shows I can tell you that I have never had this feeling of actual belief. Suspended disbelief.
Chis is the only illusionist, for me at least, who has been able to cross that impossible barrier between well planned tricks, misdirection and illusion to what really appears to be, umm, magic.
