I'm left hollow, again! I'd never had the chance to view the original version, which i will admit i found far superior, as it wasn't saturated with all of the nuances that make the American version what it is, however, I'm left longing for a conclusion still, a real one. I'm still unsure of what the message is here, exactly. I found that stateside QaF just didn't do the story that I'm now realizing they inflated justice (Brian and Michael), and also found it got entirely too Dawson's Creek, i.e. bull*hit, towards the end (and after viewing the original, it is evident my initial observation was correct). Having seen the naked, gritty, in your face look of this work, It seems as though the American seasons were just fillers for what wasn't there but could have been, and then once all the spaces were sealed became its own machine; this perhaps, is what is causing me to feel as though something is missing from this particular work. I still think it's wildly original and ground breaking, but knowing what i know, I'm left unsatisfied. Thinking about it a bit further, it seems the original didn't really intend to work anything out per say, much like Trainspotting, which is brilliant. Anyway, that was an excellent addition to the mix Hulu. Thanks.
