This movie could be a film school example of bad acting, bad direction, horrible story-telling and one-dimensional wooden characters. So many people liked it, but I guess they are REALLY young and haven't seen any quality movies. Ever.

You really have to watch this you will love every minute of it.

I have to agree with you about Kerri Russell's character.

I'd give this movie 3 & 1/2 stars, but the soundtrack a 4 or a 5! Great music- The Smiths, Bauhaus, Amiee Mann, and musical references (Joy Division). The movie itself was OK. Mathew Lillard basically plays the same character from SCREAM. Michael Vartan is cute (which kinda has a lot to do with why I picked this movie), Kerri Russell's character is...well you'll see (plays against type as this was around her days as Felicity). Dana Delany is very amusing as the counselor. I think she sort of made the movie. It's a bit slow, but leads to a crazy fun twist in the last 15 minutes, so try not to read any spoilers.
