I guess this movie should get some credit for (over-dramatically) portraying the whole teenage anxst thing, along with a few, somewhat-cool high points, but all-in-all it was a pretty lame movie. I don't know what noteworthy material Gregg Araki has directed before/since this film, but personally I could have done without the faggish, uncomfortable scenes with Duval and Schaech together - which seemed like every 10 minutes; acting was pretty funny, in a good way, but I think Duval's semi-idiotic character was overplayed. The whole $6.66 and all the devil stuff didn't tie into the story very well, wtf was the deal with the 1-minute scene with the FBI or whatever, and why didn't it go anywhere?
Neo-Nazis crashing a menage-a-three was pretty funny though.
