The Camomile Lawn: Episode 2

Have to agree with the other reviewer. British productions normally pay great attention to the actors they select for the roles but that is not the case here. These are the worst actors I have ever seen. Their acting is so forced, false and campy. It's as if they are so engrossed on getting their fake upper crust accents right that they lose focus on acting. It's really AWFUL! Because I want to see how it turns out I will just try to endure the pain. I guess I could just get the book from the library and read it!

Also the adverts are very poorly placed! Annoying to go to an ad just as a new scene is starting.

I don't know what happened here. There are some actors in this who've done good work in other productions, but the majority of the performances are so dreadful that they seem almost campy. But somehow I still want to see what happens.
