...I think the wrong guy went to prison.• He had zero history of this kind of thing (and he's pushing 70).
• Roommate was a convicted pedophile.
• Roommate moves in - and one month later - the girl is held against her will.
• Cops were embarrassingly sloppy.
• Very little physical evidence that directly linked the defendant to the crime.
• Girl was 12, and deeply traumatized by the events. Could she have picked the wrong guy in that emotional haze?

First of all whats going on with the police on this show they are giving a bad name to cops everywhere. This is the second time that the police have done absolutely nothing to solve the crime and its only episode 7.... What kind of cop finds evidence on a kidnapping case of a child and dosnt take pictures or bag the evidence and send it to DNA? And then sit on the stand and act like thats not his job. Second im starting to realize why this show got cancelled, it seems that everyone is guilty no matter what the evidence is who ever they arrest first goes to jail. Im not saying that he didnt do it but even though it was weak he had an alibi, no DNA on the tape or rope (thanks to the cops), and his roommate is a sex offender. Thats more than enough reasonable doubt, why wasnt the roommate questioned? Its almost pointless to watch the show, based on previous episodes the person is getting convicted regardless.

Isn't that a basic no, no. Don't take candy from strangers? Kids are still as dumb as ever. Parents who let their kids bug a neighbor for candy are fools as well.
I would have like to have know how she was able to get out of that apartment. Also wonder why no test for DNA on tape.
