First of all the prosecutor did a piss poor job i understand it was his first murder trial but he didnt even come close to proving anything, the only thing that remotely linked the defendant to the crime was when he was interviewed by the police and he thought he was there to talk about a murder. The fact that he was convicted with no physical evidence, no murder weapon, no witnesses, and a weak motive of he did it cause she broke up with him.... thats ridiculous! The defense attorney was on point and easily created reasonable doubt. He shot holes in every piece of evidence and every witness they had. And the police investigation was a joke, they found evidence at the scene a soda can and cigarettes but they dont test them for DNA??? uhhh really? Another thing that kinda disturbed me was when the prosecutor was talking to his co-workers before the last commercial break, he said he wasnt sure if he did enough to win and one of the co-workers says "dont worry about it you will will it on the closing" to me thats messed up... so forget about the evidence or lack there of, and just trick the jury into thinking he did it. Dont get me wrong i dont condone murder but i also dont agree with sending someone to prison for life when its not clear they did anything wrong. Oh and the judge was way out of line but he cracked me up! lol
