Hulu is able to offer this series on a two-week delay from Japan. The dubbed version of this series isn't available at this time, but we will continue to pursue both dubbed and subtitled versions of all anime series.
Ahh, this particular episode was definitely too rushed. Had I not seen the original and read the manga, I would have no idea what is going on!I like the plot-line of the manga better than that of the original anime, but I really wish that at least at this point Brotherhood would SLOW DOWN the events!!
To agree with the other comments, I am surprised at how differently they put out the original series as compared to the supposedly manga-relevant version. However, you could see why they would do so. The events that unfold in this series are done so rather haphazardly and lack proper build up or suspense. All the theories and explanations take a leap of faith, which I usually admire but lack the background necessary to have the impact that the first series did well on. Nonetheless, I do enjoy the music more for this series and look forward to how this pans out now that it opens up a bit. Anyone else think the original is still better at this point?
How could the tv series diviate so much lol. I hope it never ends! Half way done with the series ='( Wish there were not so many silly cartoon parts though.
Yeah once you get farther into the series they really were very different. The homunculi are made in an entirely different way then in the last series. It's nice though, because then you have something different to watch then just a remake of the last anime. Sloth comes in later, sloth wrath and pride are all different in this version.
did anyone else notice that the furher lost his eye patch in the battle with greed while they were alone and then when the fight came back around other people it had mysteriously reappeared. Is this a little slip up or do they expect us to think the furher either found his old one that fell off or had a secondary eye patch in his pocket. Strange workings are afoot......
...this certainly is a departure from the first series. So Sloth is basically out of the picture, at least for now..and is also -not- Trisha Elric. And Izumi's child is not Wrath. But if the Fuhrer is Wrath...then who is Pride? And wouldn't Ed & Al's transmutation of their mother still have created a Homunculus? And....Hoenhiem is evil now? O.o I never knew the manga was so different from the animated series.
