1) by adjusting how she phases herself she can "push" herself through matter in any direction (actually, the matter is pushing her), including up.3) Force beams, and the visor and how open his eyes are can control the intensity of the blast (so he can go full open to cut metal or weaken it down just enough to knock a person around without killing them).4) No clue, I wasn't paying attention then.6) He doesn't run it, it's just a good place to keep an eye on Xavier's kids.9) Very small hinting, but they don't really follow through with it in later seasons.11) Scott's inability to control his blasts is because of a brain injury suffered during the plane crash that claimed his parents and separated him from his brother. If not for that, he'd also be able to hold it in without glasses/visor just like Rogue does when she steals the power from him.   See 2 other replies
