Well depends on Which Phoenix we are talking about...there are two...and in the comic book Apocalypse comes back and rogue wasnt there to drain his powers...although she treid and the light phoenix saved the world...but the dark phoenix which was in the movie is also there...there are only two class 5 mutants in the comic books...and in this episode we saw both...at their prime...the phoenix and apocalypse...

Before, when Jean went into the room all crazy like, they were in regular clothing. when the people made plans and entered the room to save her, they went all X-Men like. Not only would that have been a complete waste of time to change outfits, they were in their own home. so why bother changing at all?

so excited to see some good old fashioned mutants on here. i agree, this show is mostly for younger viewers, and this is what prepares the youngings for the comics and the movies. the teenage angst is really something i am glad stays in the cartoon.
