Response to erict.
I disagree. The characters are not weak, they are vulnerable, and it's call character development. If you have watch the beginning of Season 1, you'll realize that the characters have actually gotten stronger. And if they hire the writers from Firefly, Battlestar Galactica would have been just another typical Sci-Fi show and it would not have made it this far. Besides you lack in suspension of disbelief. :)

with Olmos and McDonnell you would think it would be something to watch, wrong, characters are very weak - Apollo is a wimp, Starbuck is a disappointment ( died last episode, or so it seems... i really don't care if the character comes back, weak story for the characters ) hire the writers from FireFly because the writers for this new BG is boring... doesn't matter but I'm a Navy Veteran and in BG the XO, executive officer (2nd in command) should be the MasterChief that's how the characters acts and the politics and dynamics of the relationship is hogwash for military... thumbs way down

Saw seasons 1and 2. Loved the show. Looking forward to S3 dvd. How do I view the show on full screen? When I click on "Full Screen" I hear sound but no pictures.
