I CRAVE scifi and will play films that are tagged as such. I start films out paying complete attention. When they begin to drag, I split the screen and play "Free Cell" card games, listening for scenes worth watching.
This film isn't even worth using it as background 'noise' while you're doing something else. I gave it 30 minutes before I HAD to start skipping ahead. I was HOPING the writers might have some point worth thinking about and did try to find it. Even after exercising my greatest patience by first watching, then just listening, AND then resorting to skipping ahead, this waste of film never seemed to go anywhere. It's so bad that I didn't even bother skipping to the end to see how it all turned out!! -->> If the writers were trying to make some point, they should have at least started out with a sharp pencil -->> "One Day Like Rain" couldn't be been more dull!
