I love all of Vincent Price's movies. I think they are so much better than what we consider horror movies today. Horror movies nowadays SUCK!!! But classic horror like his is awesome. Great Movie
I love the Old movies and how can you go wrong with Vincent Price doing Edgar Allen Poe for that matter Vincent Price in anything is great I remember when I was real young and seen these for the first time they just don't make great movies like this anymore thank you for putting something on worth watching instead of all the junk that is made today it's good to have somewhere to go to see something thats not feeled with cussing every other word or every other seen having something to do with sex or being haif naked anyway enough said have a great day.
Nothing in the world is like Classic Horror, Nothing in the world is like Classic Horror, no gimmicks or pretense everything is raw talent. No manipulated gore or blood the fear is in the acting and comedy relief.
When it comes to short stories of horror, I was actually impressed by this because it didn't go too cheesy. I was extremely entertained, good for the season of Halloween. Worth the hour and a half I spent watching it. I'm going to go buy it now.
This is one of the better movies made of some of Poe's stories. I especially like how The Black Cat came out in this one. Vincent Price was a brilliant actor, often underrated by Hollywood, which was a shame. His was a wonderful talent. (Ever see him in "Laura"?)Poe is one of my all-time favorite authors and so many of his stories have been butchered by Hollywood. This is one of the few movies that does a very good job of keeping true to the stories themselves. I highly recommend this movie.
