I know! I must have watched this and Spartukus right next to each other because in my memory they sort of blended together. Somehow I just remembered a show about Esteban trying to find a City of Gold and somehow ending up in an underground city with a sun. See 3 other replies

This was a huge surprise to see this show here, I just found out recently this was rereleased to DVD you can find it on Ebay, and I plan to buy it soon. this is a Classic, a true Educational Adventure story.

I too remember watching this show on Nick. It brings back good memories, especially the theme song. Years after I would still hum the song to myself. I didn't understand the show that much as a kid but remember it was unlike the regular cartoons back in the day, which is why I liked it. Thank you HULU!
