No paradoxes
Time travel 101, time travel if possible, means that the time is relative to the traveller. If you have a vide camera and film a place in time and space for say 1 hr where nothing is happening, then you go back in time to the middle of that half hour with a copy of the tape, you will find that the camera has a half hour of footage and you have a tape with an hour of footage. The time line you are in is not the time line you left, it is a new one, one with you and the video-tape you took. So, in one time line Sarah dies of cancer, the John who sends back protection to prevent his mother's death is not the John who we are following. Nor is the Sarah the one we are following. This is the Sarah Connors Chronicles, so we can assume that whatever happens is going to follow the causal timeline that she and john survive and fight the tin men. Whatever comes by way of the future comes by way of A future, but that future is not necessarily a result of events from a given "now" forward. As Dr. Emmit Brown said in the final Back to the Future movie, "Time is what you make of it, so make it a good one!"

Someones not thinking this plot thru
But first before I forget: hey batguy? You said: "The female robot is..." and to that I have to say: "She's hot, but honest....she's NOT a robot LOLOL!!" Ok....if these things can time travel, then at some point in the future they're going to know that the missing cargo IS MISSING right? So they just come back again, and put the shipment back again but this time with more guards than anyone can handle, even bat's female smokin hot robot !!

The show is fun but the Sarah Conner actor makes it hard to watch.
The series, to me, overall is cheesy. There is a lot of over acting. THe person playing Sarah Conner over acts all the time. It's annoying watching her try to act hardcore as it's obvious she lives in a nice little home in downtown LA does know jack about having to kill or whatever. I get into the show everytime I don't hear or see Sarah Conner give one of her narratives. I find her explanations make the story more unbearable than everything else. However, I like the detective. He's a good actor. The kids a really good actor. The female robot is smokin hot.
